I am missing linked transactions from my banks spending account from middle of last year, but I have many transactions from that account and time accessible.

Is there a way to refresh a linked account to access these random missing transactions? I can’t figure out why they are missing and do not want to manually upload all these receipts in case my account gets fixed.

I appreciate you reaching out, Laceyandlaylaart.

Sometimes the connection experiences a temporary blip, and simply forcing a manual update can bring in the missing data.

Here are the steps to fix the connection:

  1. Go to the My Apps menu on the left navigation bar, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Then, look for and click the Update button (often located in the upper-right corner of the banking page).
  3. After the refresh completes (this may take a minute), check for the missing transactions.

It is also important to note that most financial institutions will only automatically download transactions that are less than 90 days old. Some banks may allow up to 12 or 24 months.

For transactions older than 90 days or if the refresh fails. Since the automatic bank feed cannot retrieve transactions that fall outside its historical window, manually importing a file is crucial to ensure your books are complete for last year.
