I understand the significance of having the cost-related fields when importing products into QuickBooks Online (QBO), komik37. Let me provide you with some insights into how importing works.
When you're importing products into QBO, a column for costs should be present. Since your file does not have this column, consider manually adding it to your Excel file to capture cost-related information effectively. This serves as an effective workaround to ensure accurate financial tracking.

here is a list of all the steps I did:
1- I manually entered a product on QuickBooks online, making sure to enter information in every fields associated with costs.
2- I downloaded this product to a CSV file.
3- I populated this file with my products information. I have 100+ products.
4- When I tried to upload the batch file, the only field options were related to typical product information. No fields were available to be map to costs, even though I have these columns in my document.
I have searched and read a lot of articles about importing products. But I did not find anything with this particular issue.
Hello komik37. Are you able to see the cost column while using a private/incognito browser window?
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
