Importing Inventory Transactions from Excel

Importing inventory data from Excel to QuickBooks is only for lists and does not include transactions, @bhaan_TWD. You can utilize the Add multiple/items method to copy and paste your inventory list from Excel part by part and column by column. I'll guide you with the details.

Here's how to import multiple items from Excel:

1. Go to the Lists menu.
2. Select Add/Edit Multiple Entries.

Additionally, if a column appears in Excel but not in QuickBooks, it can't be imported. Only columns from the customize option are eligible. The following are the default columns:

• Item Name
• COGS account
• Income account
• Asset account
