Hi Ande1801,
Welcome to Community! Having the ability to merge transactions to the correct account in QuickBooks Online is a smooth process. I'd be happy to help you with this!
It's important that you're aware this is permanent and cannot be undone. To get started, follow these steps:
1. In the Chart of Accounts, find the account you want to Keep
2. From the drop-down in the Action column click Edit
3. Note the Name and Detail type of the account (I recommend taking a Screenshot)
4. Check if the Is Sub-Account option is marked. If it is, note the parent account it's tied to.
Now, let's go to the Sub-Account that you want to remove or merge;
1. Click on the dropdown in the Action column and then Edit.
2. Change the Name and Detail Type so the account information matches the account you want to Keep exactly.
3. Uncheck the Is Sub-Account option so it becomes a parent account.
4. When you're ready, select Save and then Yes to confirm.
The transactions from the Sub-Account will now be in the Parent account that you've chosen to keep!
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach back out. We'd be glad assist you!
