Hi I have a user set up as accounts receivable manager only - no other access. I have changed the customer template and estimate template to look much better however she can't change her invoices or estimates under her log in. Is there something I am missing?
Thanks
Hello Debbie007,
Thanks for joining the QuickBooks Community. I'll be glad to point you in the right direction with managing users on your account.
QuickBooks offers a variety of user types that help you accomplish your goals with ease. You can grant roles using the customization options available. The Standard user can work with customers, sales, suppliers, and expenses on the account. Here's a helpful article that shows you how to: Manage user roles or permissions. Here's how to edit a user's role:
1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage users.
2. Select the Users tab, then find the user you want to edit.
3. Select Edit from the Action column.
4. Select from the existing custom or QuickBooks roles.
5. Select Save changes. If you edit permissions after selecting the role, you’ll be asked to save a new custom role. Enter a Custom role name and Role description, then select Save role

Thank you for your reply. I have gone into edit and she only has authorization as accounts receivable manager. I don't see under that role how to allow her to change invoice and estimate templates??
I see what you're saying. The custom role feature you've mentioned isn't available. You'll have to use the Standard User or a different user type that has access to changing invoice and estimate templates. In the meantime, feel free to ask other questions. I'm here to help.
