Can I open & close Multiple Company files using a single QB PLUS 2022 Canada Edition cloud version subscription? Or am I limited to one company file per subscription?
I am not asking about Deskop QB versions or any cloud QB versions prior to 2022.
Would prefer an answer from a QB Canada rep or a Canadian user who has successfully used QB PLUS 2022 Canada Edition to open, edit, and maintain multiple companies.
One QB Online account is for one company file. You can utilize the class tracking feature in QB Online Plus or Advanced to manage branches/divisions. You should have more than one QB Online account to manage multi company files. Otherwise, consider to use QB Desktop instead and setup a private cloud if required.

Thanks, but beginning 2022 Intuit USA and Canada not selling Desktop versions anymore. Are there other countries with agents selling and supporting Desktop versions?
We are currently using QB DT Pro 2019 and have been a loyal QB user for decades, but Intuit has apparently orphaned us and those like us, so will be reviewing competitions offerings when we need to upgrade.

Where is your location? Any solid reference about it? You can still purchase QB Desktop 2022 US and CA version directly from Intuit. You can also still purchase the one time license for QB Desktop 2022 Accountant US version. Another option, you can still purchase the one time license for QB Desktop 2021 US and CA version from some partners.
Hi RLMc,
It's a pleasure to see you in Community. Welcome! QuickBooks Desktop has the dynamic ability to allow you to create as many company files as you'd like within a single subscription. Purchasing the license is for the program rather than a per company fee. Of course you'll need to keep in mind that each company file should only have the data for that specific business. To learn more about the best fit for your business contact us. We' be happy to help!
