Payments shut off

I understand that the status of your payment account at the moment might have delayed some of your money-involving transactions, @yardpromanitoba

A particular payment is usually shut off if the user commits one of the restrictions mentioned in Section 11, Canada Payor Terms and Conditions. These are:

  • As a user, you must be at least the age of majority in the province where you reside and permanently reside in Canada.
  • Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information to Intuit.
  • Use the Payment Service or any Intuit Service to send or receive fraudulent funds or conduct other transactions relating to other illegal activities.
  • Modify, duplicate, disrupt, or interfere with the Service, supporting servers, or networks manually or through the use of scripts, viruses, or worms.
  • Attempt to access any other Intuit systems that are not part of the Service.
  • Excessively overload the Intuit systems used to provide the Service; or
  • Use the Payment Service or any other Intuit Service to send unsolicited email to third parties.

You can also visit this article to review the other obligations and agreements available before having your payment account: Canada Payor Terms.

If this isn't the case, I recommend contacting their payment support team to isolate this issue and navigate the current status of your account. This way, they can determine if the reason for shutting off your account is valid, and if not, they can mend and reactivate it.

Feel free to return here if you have additional information or inquiries about your payment account status by replying to this thread.
