Hello all.
Does anyone know if the almighty QB developers have allowed us Canadians to get access to the QuickBooks Payments features for QB desktop versions - or is this still exclusively for the Americans?
I was praying that with the new Desktop 2022 versions it would be added, but I have upgraded and I can't seem to find any information on it that pertains to Canadians, unless it is QBO (<- tried and failed that miserably btw).
If the answer is "not this year .." I do welcome thoughts, experiences and suggestions from others on -third party apps that will allow me to email invoices/statements with a pay now button. Daily struggle trying to keep my A/R account reasonable levels - this has been an extremely painful challenge.
Hi KimPreeper,
Welcome back to Community! Thank you for reaching out in regards to the Payments feature for QuickBooks Desktop. As you're already aware, this currently isn't available in Canada. I'd recommend reviewing QuickBooks Apps to select the option that's best for you.
In addition, I'd suggest submitting any suggestions and recommendations you may have, to our Development Team for future updates. You can do this by going to Help from the top menu and select Send Feedback Online.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out. We're happy to help!
It is extremely frustrating that the US version is so much more friendly than the Canadian. I upgraded to the subscription based Desktop 2022 assuming these extra features would be available. And equally frustrating is the Online version is lacking so many features. Either version in 2022 is really disappointing.
Any specific concern about QB Payment? You can utilize a 3rd party merchant service if required.
