credit card transactions showing up on the wrong side [ayments minus and expense positive

When you download a credit card transaction, this payment is shown as a negative number because it reduces the amount you owe, Neslia.

On the other hand, when you buy something with your credit card, the amount you owe increases. In QBO, this is shown as a positive number because it adds to your total debt.

Please know that a credit card is a liability, so a purchase that increases your debt is a positive value, and a payment that decreases your debt is a negative value. Therefore, the same number can have the opposite meaning depending on which account it's downloaded from.

For additional information on downloading credit card transactions, please refer to the following page: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

If you have further concerns, please don't hesitate to add your inquiry below.

I appreciate the effort you've already made in attempting to sync your credit card transactions to your account.

Since reconnecting your account didn't work, I suggest reaching out to your bank to check if there are any ongoing issues or maintenance on their end.

After verifying everything and ensuring there are no issues, return to QuickBooks, select Banking, and click Update to refresh the connection.

If the issue persists, I recommend connecting with our Live Support team. They have the tools necessary to securely share your screen and investigate the syncing issue further. Be sure to check our support hours to ensure timely assistance.

If you still need further assistance, leave a post below.

I already contacted the bank on Friday and then said there are no issues on their side it appear to be a QuickBooks issue. That is why I haven been trying to get a hold of QBO but there isn't an easy to contact support.
