Hello! I have 2 accounts (one is inactive/not paid anymore) linked to my email address. I am needing to merge to the 2 accounts. Is this possible? If so, how?
Running a small business can be a time-consuming job, and QuickBooks Online helps make your life easier by allowing you to have more than one account under the same email. Having more than one QuickBooks account is great, but if you've closed one I can see why you'd like to merge the two accounts together. I'll explain the limitations of merging two accounts.
At this time, the option to merge accounts isn't available. There's a lot of complex bookkeeping going on in the background of your account, which can make it difficult to do things such as merge accounts together. I know this is something you were hoping to do, however if you'd like the information from your cancelled account to appear in your main account, you'd have to manually enter this data.
