Being able to see a report of all project-related purchases can be a great way to track the costs at a quick glance, alisonpower.
While there isn't a way to run a Purchases by Product/Service Detail report for a specific project, you can still get this information by customizing it.
If you're still in the Classic view reporting option, you can add a column to show the name of the project. Then, export the report to Excel so you can use the app's sorting function to remove any other transactions from the other projects.
Here's how:
- Go back to the Purchases by Product/Service Detail report.
- Click Customize in the upper-right-hand corner.
- Scroll down to the Rows/Columns section, then check Customer.
Once done, click the Export button and choose Export to Excel.

If you're already migrated to the Modern view option, you can run the Purchases by Supplier Detail report. Then, add the Customer column to show the name of the project. After that, export it to Excel so you can easily report and sort out the transactions using the app's function.
