Who is Hostbooks? Are they associated with Quickbooks

Thank you for clarifying. When I spoke with someone from Hostbooks they did say they are connected to Quickbooks. Perhaps this is a scam.

Hostbooks just took over the installation of my new Quickbooks 2024 desktop software.  They said that I must also pay $695 for their database services.  Is this a true requirement for desktop?
