I already set up and verified my receipt forwarding email via quickbook online, but still get this error : You recently tried to forward a receipt to [email address removed]. We couldn’t process the receipt because the email address it was forwarded from is not set up for receipt forwarding

It sounds like you've set up your email for verification. Make sure that each verification step is followed as outlined in the article above, such as entering the verification code. Once verified, instructions appear on the Receipt Forwarding screen. This includes details on how to forward receipts to us. We also allow users to opt out to email notifications when QuickBooks Self-Employed receives forwarded receipts. We will always notify users if there is an issue.
