REinstall quickbooks desktop pro 2106

You can install QuickBooks Desktop using the original installation CD. In the event the CD isn't available, you can use you license and product number to install the program on another computer. If the info in the article doesn't suffice, feel free to ask questions here. Otherwise, you may need to upgrade to newer version.

We also have the same issue, we want are using quickbooks 2016 and would like to reinstall it in a different machine as the machine where its currently installed is poblematic, how is the activation process of the product?

To activate QuickBooks Desktop on a new computer, Mcss4574, you'll need a validation code to register the software. Allow me to clarify the process.

Activation usually requires a validation code, which can be obtained by reaching out to our Live Support team. However, QuickBooks Desktop 2016 is a discontinued version and is no longer supported by Intuit. Because of this, the support team is unable to provide validation codes for unsupported versions like QuickBooks 2016.

Given this, you may need to either continue using QuickBooks Desktop on your old computer if possible, upgrade to the latest version of QuickBooks Desktop, or switch to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
