Hi there,
I'm using Quickbooks Self Employed and all of my transactions are missing from March 10th to June 23rd of 2023. It shows up on my bank statements electronically and the QBSE app/online says my accounts are all updated.
When I try to import my transactions from this time, I get this error: Http failure response for https://selfemployed.api.intuit.com/v1/transactions-import/csvImport/1654759: 422 OK~Logged-in-ApiService.handleError~
I made sure all 0's are blank, and that the dates and everything are formatted correctly.
I've turned off my accounts and turned them back on, but it's still not showing up.
For some reason, support isn't working, so I am asking the community for help.
If anyone knows why this is and how it can be rectified, please help!
Thank you
Good morning, Jaade.
Thanks for turning to the Community for support! I'd be happy to help you out.
Sometimes browsing data accumulates and prevents the software from doing what it is supposed to do. I recommend trying these troubleshooting steps to see if this helps resolves the issue.
If the issue persists after trying the steps provided above, I recommend reaching out to the support team outside of the Community. They have the appropriate tools to have this escalated if they feel it is necessary. You can reach them by following one of these methods:
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: select (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > then hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
Thank you, the help/support option wasn't working on the app or desktop for some reason, but I noticed I had to update the app and then the support worked and now I'm the phone with them trying to sort this out.
Figured it out for anyone reading this!
Turned out I didn't have the correct date format haha. It's supposed to be DD/MM/YY, which I thought I had, but it was in MM/DD/YY :).
But as for the missing transactions in the first place, I'm not sure. I'm positive during that period I was not logging into my account and there was a lull in syncing, or there was an error for that period and since I didn't see it or fix it, it wasn't syncing for that period. I feel like it should still sync everything once it was fixed, but it didn't. Phone Customer Supporter Mechie said to note the error code and contact support with the code to determine what the error is.
I've now imported the transactions in the correct format and it's added in. Just need to categorize. Mechie helped me out a lot!
Jade
Thanks for the update Jaade!
