When exporting my data from Quickbooks Pro, my export was unable to continue without an update. I completed the update, and the export keeps stating that I need to update my Quickbooks Pro, though I have already updated it. I have reset the update and have completed the update again, and I still am getting the request to do an update before I can export. What is going on? What am I doing wrong?
Do you need to convert data from QB Desktop to QB Online?

Which QB Desktop year version do you have?
I am running Quickbooks Pro 2017. I have completed the latest updates available and I still get the error of "You'll need to update your software ti access your Account here" so do I have to move to a higher version of Quickbooks Pro? I did come across another post where someone was using Quickbooks Pro 2011 and had to upgrade, but I did not know if this would pertain to this version as well. Is this the same case for me?
Thank you.
You can use the trial version for QBD 2020 or 2021 to upgrade your file and convert it to QBO. Contact me in private and we can share the trial versions.
If I download a trial QB 2023, how do I get my files from old QB over to be converted?
Which QB Desktop year version did you use?
2015. Need to move to 2023 before I can migrate to online. Looks like it would be less hassle to just start from scratch on line.
You can use the trial version for QBD 2023 to upgrade your file. If you encounter errors, you can use the trial version for QBD 2020 as the first step. Contact me in private and we can share the installer file if required.
You have the option to utilize the trial version of QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) 2020 or 2021 to upgrade and convert your file into QuickBooks Online (QBO).
