I have two businesses that I have access to in QBO. In one, when I use the "+" and "-" keys to affect the date, they work as expected and either increase or decrease the date by one day. However, in the other, when I press "-" to move to the prior day, the "-" is typed in the field, removing the date value and leaving the "-" in red in the field with a dialogue bubble pointing at it saying, "Please make a valid entry".
Is there a way to fix this in settings? It makes no sense to me that the two clients do not work the same way.

It's a pleasure to see you in Community. Welcome! I can see how you'd benefit from using the keys to adjust your date. It's important that you're able to accomplish your goals in the same fashion within other QuickBooks Online accounts. I'd be glad to assist!
Based on the information you've provided, I've taken the liberty to have a look in my own account to see if I get the same message. I found that when I open a new form and click in the Date field, I'm able to use the '+' and '-' keys to adjust the date. However, if I accidentally click on the Calendar icon, I don't get the same result. In addition, when I highlight the Date, the '+' and '-' keys will not work. With that being said, I recommend ensuring that you click in the date field, so the date is automatically highlighted. This will enable you to use the keys to adjust your dates as needed.

Amanda... It matters not how I get to the date field, the "-" always gives me an error in one of my two accounts.
