I have had the same persistent Banking Alert since May 8, 2024.
- The bank feed is working normally and my bank transactions download normally as well.
- I close the alert each time. I cleared my cache, I tried to go into Incognito mode and clear things out. The banking alert comes back no matter what.
Chrome software and Windows 10 fully up to date. Screenshot attached.

Unfortunately, reconnecting several of my RBC accounts through your method did not clear the Banking Alert so far.
Hi CBlue,
It's vital for all your transactions to be entered for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to connect to multiple banks to import transactions. This can save you time with data entry. I hear you and I'm here to help.
The first step to try to resolve any bank connection errors would be to click on the pencil beside the affected account on the Banking section, then Edit sign-in info. Enter the information that you use to sign into the affected bank's website. Once done, save, then try to force a transaction import by clicking Update.
If the updating of login information didn't work, then I recommend trying the steps in this article. There are steps to try for all bank issues, and there are some further articles with specific troubleshooting steps for common errors seen.
If you have any further questions or need more assistance, feel free to reach out here.
