Can't access my customer database. i can search, but will not go to actual customer when i hit enter

Hi ann_kelly,

 

Welcome to Community!  It's essential that you're able to locate and access your customers so you can get ahead with your work.  QuickBooks Online has extended features for situations like this.  I'll be happy to assist!

 

Based on the information you've provided, I recommend clearing cache on your browser.  Then log back into your QuickBooks account using a private or incognito browser.  If you get the same result follow these steps;

 

1. From the left menu, select Sales

2. Open the Customers tab

3. Click on the small ⚙ above the Action column

4. Checkmark the box to Include inactive

That should do it!
