How do we enter a non inventory name that should include the / ? When I try - I get the Use a valid name. 3/8 Elbow is a valid name, but not here?

There are a lot of the previously entered names that have the /. if i go in them now - it says to enter a valid name. We use a lot of pipe fittings that are 1/2, 3/8, 3/4 that were previously acceptable, but not any more. Why?

Welcome to Community! I would be happy to assist you with adding inventory items to your QuickBooks Online account.

To successfully enter your inventory without error, please be sure there are no special characters in the Name* field. I recommend entering 'Elbow' instead. Then enter '3/8 Elbow', in the Description field. This will allow you to save your product.
