How do I setup a pre-authorized customer credit card payment?

Welcome to Community!  Having pre-authorized payments for regular customers is a great way to ensure they're always paid up to date.  QuickBooks Online Payments has the versatility you need to establish this goal.  I'll be happy provide the information needed so you can get back to what you love!

 

With QuickBooks Online Payments, you can create a recurring sales receipt that will automatically charge customers at the specified intervals.  Before getting started you'll need a written authorization form from your customer.  The form is generated when you save the recurring template.  Here's a helpful guide to assist you with setting up recurring sales receipts.
