This is a joke a customer made a payment through quickbooks and it disappeared into never never land. didn't show up in the account. So where is it?

Hi Brnstrmr,

 

QuickBooks Online Payments, is a great way to enable customers to pay directly from the invoice they receive.  When the funds have not been posted to your account as expected, it can have a negative impact on your business.  I would be glad to provide some insight here!

 

When QuickBooks processes customer payments, the funds are deposited into the bank account you chose when you signed up for QuickBooks Payments.  Deposit times depend on your product and the type of payment. If you're new to Payments, the first payments may take a bit longer while we set up your accounts. However, once your accounts are setup, customer payments will process much faster, typically within 2-3 business days. Follow this link to learn more about deposit times for QuickBooks Payments.

 

When the funds haven't been released to your bank account, it could be due to several reasons.  In this situation you would have received an email with specific steps to resolve the issue.  Follow the steps in the email as soon as possible. Once we have everything, we can usually complete our review within 2 business days and finish processing the payment.
