Why are credits automatically getting processed, even with the automation setting correct?

I am trying to apply credits to bills to process payment, but the credits have automatically been processed

Why are credits automatically getting processed, even with the automation setting correct?

Hi Lisa1357,

 

It's nice to see you reaching out here.  Having the ability to automatically apply credits is a great time saver.  QuickBooks Online has the versatility you need for making choices that best suit your business needs.  I'll be happy to provide more information here!

 

As noted in your post, credits can be applied automatically when the feature is turned on.  However, if you prefer to review the information and apply the credits manually you can turn the feature off by following these steps:

 

1. From the Gear in the top right, open Account and settings

2. Click on the Advanced tab and select the Edit ✎ to the far right of the Automation section

3. Move the toggle to the off position beside Automatically apply credits

4. Select Save

5. Hit Done
