Attachments and Reports

I am looking for a way to customize a report that lists transactions such as the first level drill down from a balance sheet or a P&L so that it can indicate which transactions have attached documents and which ones do not, or how many documents are attached to each transaction. It seems to be possible in QuickBooks Online but I've not been able to find it in QuickBooks Desktop. Does such functionality exist in Desktop?

QuickBooks is a powerful program which offers a ton of useful features which help you streamline your business. The feature you've described isn't available in QuickBooks Desktop and I can see how beneficial it would be for you to have this feature. I recommend sending feedback to our product developers so they can look into incorporating this feature in the near future. You can send feedback by clicking the Help menu and looking for Send Feedback Online. New product enhancements are largely influenced by the valuable feedback we get from users like you.
