Hello JDBurgess,
I'm glad to hear that you're working with QuickBooks Online's customization options for report to tailor the information in a way that makes sense for your business. The customization feature has a number of column and filtering options to highlight or hide certain information depending on your needs, and I'd be happy to go over this with you.
I can appreciate how having the option to filter out amounts that are zero would be useful. In this case, knowing what report you started with for these customizations would help with letting you know what the specific options are. However, all of the available options are at your disposal when you click the Customize button. If you're not seeing the option to filter or only run for non-zero amounts, then it's likely not an option for that report. This article goes over the general customization options for you: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online
If the report you're working with doesn't give you the option for non-zero amounts, I have a couple of suggestions for you. The first is to export the report to Excel to be able to remove the amounts that are at zero. I've got an article that can help with that: Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online
My next suggestion is to share your feedback via the steps in this article: How do I submit feedback? Comments left here are forwarded to the product development team to let them know what users are looking for when it comes to working with QuickBooks Online. It's a great way to have your voice heard.
Feel free to share any additional information here if you think it might help with coming up with other options. I'm happy to look into this to make sure you have the options available to you.
Take care.
