Deleted products still affect on Opening Balance Equity

Hello

I would appreciate for help with solving the following situation:

I imported some products in QBO as Inventory Starting Value, but found some mistakes and delete all products. After that I imported them again.

As the result, in the Opening Balance Equity I see two transactions for each product (screenshot is attached).

How can I remove transactions related to deleted products?

Thank you

Deleted products still affect on Opening Balance Equity

Hi SergeiG,

It's nice to see you reaching out here.  QuickBooks Online provides the option to void or delete transactions, so they don't have a negative impact on your account balances and associated reports.  I would be happy to assist!

Please be advised that deleting a transaction cannot be undone.  Any items deleted in error, will need to be recreated.  Here's how to delete transactions;

1. Go to your Settings ⚙ and open the Chart of accounts

2. Locate the affected account and select Account history in the Action column

3. Open the Filter and use the ▼ dropdown menu to select the Transaction type

4. Scroll through the account history and locate a duplicate item

5. Select the item to expand the view

6. Hit Delete

Let us know if you have other questions.  We are always glad to help!

@Trish_T Thank you for the answer.

Unfortunately, I don't have Delete button in these transactions.

Due to the fact that I am unable to open the screenshot you've provided, I recommend reaching out to the support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your screen to better assist you. You can reach them by following these steps:

Schedule a Callback: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback.
