One of the most exciting additions to QuickBooks Online in recent months has been the new Receipts tab! You now have the option to scan, attach, and categorize expense and bill receipts to save you time with your daily bookkeeping. There's a few different methods you can use to upload/scan your receipts into QBO. You can do this via the mobile app, by email, or straight from your computer.
Once the receipt is entered into QBO, you can categorize it to generate an expense or bill record in your books. All the instructions on how to do this are neatly outlined in the article above.
