Hi there,
Congrats on your first post in the Community! I'd be happy to share more info on how to split a transaction in QuickBooks.
Splitting a transaction will allow your transactions to have two or more Payees assigned at once, Here are the steps on how to do that:
3. For each part of the split, enter a Category, a Payee, and the Amount. Click Save and add once finished.
With these steps, you'll be able to split up banking expense items with ease. Please keep in touch with me here should you need any further assistance. Enjoy the rest of your week! :)
Hello,
can you please show an example on how the tip is split out and IF it will go to another account. I have the same problem. I am trying to split in into expenses but it will not add up.
Thanks so much!
Alain
