Printing Item Numbers in Reports

Hello,

I have a question about formatting item numbers for printing reports.

One of my item numbers is SF-001.  I would like to see this on a report.

When I go to print a report and select 'Item', this is what I get:

Sunflower Oil:SF-001 (Sunflower Oil Cold Pressed 500 ml / Huile de tournesol 500 ml)

SF-001 is a subitem of 'Sunflower Oil' which we use to group items.  In brackets is the item description.

Why is it picking up all of this when I just want to print the Item Number.

Any work around?

Thanks in advance.

Printing Item Numbers in Reports

Hi there dale_216,

It's important that all your transactions be entered correctly for your sales and inventory totals to be accurate. QuickBooks Desktop is a great software able to help you view the financials of your company through a variety of reports. i can point you in the right direction for assistance with reports.

In order to know how to customize the report, or modify the product so that it could appear correctly on the reports, you'd need to reach out to the QuickBooks Desktop support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your products with you as well as the reports in secure settings to help you customize the view of the products in the report. You can reach them using the methods outlined in the QuickBooks Desktop software support policies.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
