Reports are generating no results?

Hi there,

Thanks for posting your question in the Community!

I'd be happy to explain the reasons why your reports may not be generating any information. I know how important reports are in terms of staying updated on your business health. QuickBooks Online has many different types of reports, which all pull data from different areas of your QuickBooks account.

I recommend paying special attention to the Report Period you've selected at the top of the page. Perhaps you've selected a date range that doesn't align with any of your transactions. Try changing the dates by adjusting the Report Period drop-down.

The solution may be as simple as locating the correct report for the type of transactions you're looking for. I recommend running the Balance Sheet Report and your Profit & Loss, which should contain data in the correct date ranges.

You should also clear the cache and cookies in your browser. Stored Internet files can build up after browsing the web, and this may be causing loading errors. To clear the cache and cookies, follow the steps listed here: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

You can also try using Google Chrome's Incognito Window. This is a private window that operates outside the rest of the browser. Here's more information about Incognito Mode and how to use it: Browse in private.

If you're not sure which report to look at to see certain transaction information, I'm just one comment away. With a bit more information about what report you're looking at, and what you're trying to see in the report, I may be able to help further.

I'll keep an eye out for any other questions you may have.

Have a great day.
