Hi.
I’m cleaning my products list for repeated and mistyped products. However, there are some invoices that contain the old version of those products and I only notice once someone else sees that an invoice has a deleted product and freaks out. I have to manually change the products to fix it, but I want to be able to find those invoices before my colleagues do and fix them before they notice the change in the product.
Can this report be done? Or how would you work around the issue?
Thanks

Hi Andres Rodriguez Guapacha,
Being able to track your invoices and what items are sold is imperative for a business owner. I'd be happy to help you with getting the best report for you to find the inactive products.
QuickBooks Online makes it easy to track your items sold and invoices. To pull up these kinds of reports you can go to: Reports>Sales and Customers. In this case I recommend running the Sales by Product/Service Detail as it lists all your invoices and the items included in them. You can also use Sales by Product/Service Summary as this will pull all items to see if any inactive items had been sold in that timeframe. Once the report is pulled up just look for any item that says deleted and you can make your changes.
If you have further questions I'd recommend contacting our support team using one of the following options.
Schedule a Callback or Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat. Support is available from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET.

Have a great one!
