Am I able to customize the body of a reminder email?

Lets say I want to send automatic invoice reminders to customers. Can I use custom fields in the body? Example I want to email a customer saying :

Your Invoice [Invoice Number] is due on [Due Date]

Here are the details of your invoice :

  • Invoice Number: [Invoice Number]

  • Invoice Date: [Invoice Date]

  • Due Date: [Due Date]

  • Total Amount: [Total Amount]

Is there a way for QuickBooks to populate these fields as it corresponds to the invoice ?

Am I able to customize the body of a reminder email?

Hi there JAL88,

Thanks for reaching out about your invoices. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you create and send invoices so your customer knows the amount owed for your services. I can provide some information about customizing reminder emails.

In QuickBooks Online, in the body of the reminder email, there isn't the option to autofill the information you mentioned. You would need to either add a generic statement or add the specifications manually right before sending the reminders. I can see that this would be a feature that you'd like to see the help you with reminder creation in QuickBooks Online. I recommend leaving feedback in the system by clicking on the Gear icon, then Feedback. The comments made in that section are taken into consideration when designing new features for QuickBooks Online.
