Hi Laura,
Thanks for the reply, but just to let you know, this is not an update or a new features of the Quickbooks 2021.

Hello SGCPC,
It's awesome to hear that you've upgraded to QuickBooks Desktop Premier 2021! I hope you're enjoying the new features and that the program is continuing to enhance your bookkeeping practices. I appreciate the screenshot of what you're seeing on your invoice templates, and I can explain what's going on.
Having your own invoice templates that you were working with previously is awesome. It's a great way to ensure consistency when working with your customers. In this case, the alternating shaded lines on your invoices aren't a bug, but rather the way that QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Premier display the transactions in newer editions of the software. While it is possible to print without the alternating shaded lines when using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, there isn't a way to turn off that alternating line shading in the Pro or Premier of the software.
This is a good opportunity to leave feedback for our product development team. You can do this by going to the Help menu in QuickBooks Desktop and choose Send Feedback Online. The comments left there are forwarded to our team for consideration in future updates.
Don't hesitate if you have more questions about this. I'm here to help. :)

Hello SGCPC,
Thanks for bringing that option to my attention. That's a good find and I'm glad you're happy with that option. In testing it myself, I see that it removes all lines on the invoice, not just the shaded ones you were referring to, but if that works for you, that's great!
Enjoy your week.
