Custom Invoices

Creating unique invoices is an awesome way to reflect your brand image while using QuickBooks Online. While you're able to customize the templates in QuickBooks Online, we realize that this sometimes doesn't allow for enough flexibility in your design. In that case, you can import your own unique style from Microsoft Word. I'll explain how.

But I was hoping there were some templates that I could start with and just customize for my own business?

I see what you're saying. In that case, you have the option to customize the templates already available to you in QBO. Here's more information about how to customize sales forms within the product:Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

I see what you mean. At this time, other templates aren't available through official QuickBooks resources. That being said, it wouldn't hurt to search the web and see if other users have provided Word document templates you can use for upload.
