Good morning userrinoruzich,
Happy Easter Long Weekend!
@Rajanikanth offered some great assistance on how to change your format, in the case that this is a technical issue for whatever reason, I would love to share some additional information to help you through this.
Before we begin working in your company file, I would recommend working in the cleanest Google Chrome Browser possible. To do this, what is recommended is working in incognito (private browser window) by selecting:
Chrome OS: Press Ctrl + Shift + n. Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + n on your keyboard.
Once our black Google Chrome window appears, we can log into our company file by going to:
qbo.ca
Once we are logged in, let's open our sales receipt we were working with, and let's try to re enter a test dollar amount (example $1.00) then we will select the save. We are just trying to trigger an effect by making a change to the dollar amount by doing this. Once we are done saving, we can re enter the true dollar value once again then select save once again.
At this point we can open our print and preview down in the bottom middle of our black bar within the transaction and take a peak of what the dollar amounts are looking like. Hopefully at this point they are showing accurately, and if we are satisfied with what we see we can attempt to print once again.
In our Sales Receipt, we also want to be mindful on our inclusive and exclusive of tax drop-down that can be found in our top right hand corner of our Sales Receipt above the line items section, as this also plays a factor on how our numbers get calculated in our transaction.
If this method ends up working for you, I would recommend clearing out your cache and cookies. I will share the article down below:
Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online

I truly hope this technique does the trick! Let me know how it goes for you, and feel free to reach back out if needed. Have an awesome rest of your long weekend!
Kindest Regards,
Lourdes Fernandez
