Hello s-pandya,
Time-saving features like being able to bulk print invoices is one of the great options in QuickBooks Online. I appreciate you taking the time to share this error message with me as those kinds of messages are often a key part of resolving these issues. I'll get you started with some troubleshooting.
I see you tried to include your email in your response, but the forum has automatically removed it to protect your private data. Don't worry, I'll also leave our contact information at the end of my response in case you'd still like to work with someone outside of the QuickBooks Community.
Typically, this kind of error message has to do with the PDF viewer that QuickBooks Online uses to show you print previews of your invoices and other forms. Given that, my first recommendation to you is to check your Adobe Flash Player is up to date. This page from the Adobe website may be able to help: Flash Player Help. This QuickBooks Community article also has a few more details about this: Print sales forms
If things are in order there, the next steps I have for you are related to cache, browser, app, and Internet troubleshooting since each of those things can have an impact on QuickBooks Online's performance. With it being a cloud software, having a clear cache and using a supported browser type (if that's how you're accessing it) are important. Try out these steps.
When those steps also don't seem to resolve the issue, it's time to get in touch with support outside of the Community so a member of our team can take a closer look at this with you, gather your details, and determine the next steps toward a resolution. Here are the contact options.
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat. Support is available from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET.
Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Whichever method you choose, we've got you covered. Have a wonderful weekend.
I don't know if this will help you, but I was having the exact same issue (on the same day, no less) and finally seemed to have pinpointed the problem for me.
It throws that error on the browser version, or "Unexpected server error" on the app, when I attempt to batch print invoices that have mixed templates. There are 2 different invoice templates in use where I work, and if I go through and uncheck all of one type (the ones I didn't need anyways) I can get it to generate the pdf.
Thanks for sharing what worked for you @Graehl! This is what the Community's all about.
