I sent an estimate the person replied and i cannot find the email anywhere

Hi quitebroke-gmail,

 

Welcome to the Community! Being able to manage your emails with customers is essential in the running of your business. I see that you've indicated using QuickBooks Self-Employed, but I'm suspecting you might have QuickBooks Online as Self-Employed doesn't have the Estimate feature. I'll make sure to guide you for both products just in case.

 

In QuickBooks Online, estimates get to your customers via Intuit's email. You can, however, use the built-in feature in the program to automatically Cc those to yourself. Here's how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon ⚙ and then Account and settings.
  2. Choose the Sales tab from the left menu.
  3. Click the Messages section or the pencil icon beside it to edit.
  4. Select Estimate from the Sales forms dropdown.
  5. Check off Email me a copy at [email] (Note: This defaults to the Company email entered on the Company tab).
  6. Click Save and Done.

It's important to note that unless you set up yourself to access emails sent out to your customers, you won't be able to receive any replies. If you did Cc yourself when sending the estimate and can't find the response to it, I'd recommend checking your junk/spam folder if you haven't already.
