Hello triplesfencerent,
Welcome to Community! Our QuickBooks Online Multicurrency feature makes it easy to invoice customers from all over the world. Once it's turned on, your invoices will display the amount owing in CAD, as long as you've set it up as your home currency. Let me explain how this works!
Multicurrency is an advanced feature that enables you to track transactions in foreign currency in either QuickBooks Online Essentials or Plus. In order to take advantage of the extended abilities that you'll have with this tool, you'll need to turn it on. Here's how;
1. Go to your Settings ⚙ and choose Account and settings
2. Select the Advanced tab
3. Go the Currency section and click the Edit
4. Toggle the switch for Multicurrency to On
Please note that once multicurrency is turned on, you cannot turn it off.
5. Hit Done.
Once you've turned Multicurrency on, it will automatically be displayed on your invoices. You'll notice the Total (USD), followed by the Total (CAD).
With regards to having Received by and Print & Sign lines on the bottom of invoice, this option isn't available at this time. However, you can review your options with a third party app, or submit a suggestion to our Development team. Proceed to your Settings ⚙, then select Feedback. Enter your product suggestions, then select Next to submit.
Please don't hesitate to reach back out with other questions. We would be glad to assist!
