You may prepare the Estimate/Invoice data in XLS format and utilize an importer tool as a workaround.

Hi there sereda-jm,

 

I love that you've been using the QuickBooks Online desktop app for Windows to access your books and make the bookkeeping process a little more streamlined for your business. Saving your transactions once you've entered them is a very crucial step. If it's not done, your transactions won't have been entered into your books and you'll have to start from scratch and enter them again. Let me point you in the right direction on this.

 

There isn't a way to set up an auto-save fuction in QuickBooks Online at all, whether you're using your internet browser, the desktop app, or our mobile app. You'll need to manually hit Save, Save and closeSave and new, or Save and send each time you craete a transaction. I can see how an auto-save feature would cut down your bookkeeping time even further though, so I'd love it if you'd submit feedback on this.

 

By navigating to the Gear icon you can select Feedback and choose to share your thoughts and suggestions on an aut-save feature with our product developers. They take this feedback into consideration when implementing new features and improving existing ones. I'll be sure to pass this along on my end as well.
