Does anyone know why the description of an invoice doesn't show up on a statement?

Hello KimH1,
That's a great question. Customer statement does not contain the description of an item. Instead, it shows the transaction type such as invoice, sales receipts, credit memos. It's because every transaction might has multiple product/service items. You can pull up the Sales by Customer report. It'll show you the description of each items for each transaction.

Thank you so much. I am very new to quickbooks but I love it so far. Thanks
The description only shows up in the item lists. It doesn't show up on the invoices or reports either. Does anyone know why?
