My last few deposits are showing as an expense when I uploaded from my bank. How can I change that so I can apply the payment to receivables/invoices?

My last few deposits are showing as an expense when I uploaded from my bank. How can I change that so I can apply the payment to receivables/invoices?

Thanks for reaching out about your transactions. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to import transactions fmo various banks in order to save time with data entry. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with bank connection errors resulting in transactions appearing with the wrong amount.

 

For transactions appearing as an amount spent instead of an amount received. I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team. They'll be able to verify your information in a secure setting to be able to see the connection in the system to provide the best troubleshooting steps to get this resolve, as well as collect all the necessary information to notify the engineers of the error if it still persists. Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
