Nova scotia people, does anyone know why the basic tax rate is 15% on here, not the accurate 14%?

I appreciate you bringing this to our attention regarding the tax rate in Nova Scotia, @angiesmediasolutions .

You are correct that the current official HST rate in Nova Scotia is 14%. The reason you're likely seeing the previous 15% tax rate in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account is that the automatic system update for the new provincial tax rates hasn't been applied or activated in your settings yet.

To resolve this, let's navigate to your Taxes section in QBO and see if a 14% Nova Scotia HST rate is now listed as an option.  If the 14% rate isn't automatically available, we can manually add a new tax rate for Nova Scotia HST at 14%.

Additionally, I recommend reviewing your Tax Agencies tab to ensure it's set to Active and the province is correctly listed as Nova Scotia. If the agency is marked as inactive, it may affect how rates are updated.
