Hello QB Community,
I am new to QB and I need some assistance. I just began keeping the books for a start-up non-profit. I was wondering how I enter donations in my version of QB (currently using Premier Desktop 2018). My issues is: I do not see a Donations icon or Sales Receipt icon on the Home Page. Did I set-up the company, incorrectly? Please advise...

If you are using the US version of the software, it's important to make sure you're viewing and posting to that section of our community forum since there are feature differences between each version of the software. I see you've already gotten a response and guidance there, and it looks like you may be good to go.
In this case, it appears the Canadian and US versions work similarly, so you're welcome to try updating the program as mentioned by my US support colleague for the Canadian edition as well. Here's a step-by-step guide from the Canadian Community on making sure the program is up-to-date: Update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release.
When using the Non-Profit version of QuickBooks Desktop, the screen will look like this, with a Donation icon, which I've highlighted here.
