Accepting credit card payments directly through your QuickBooks Desktop account would be a great way to help keep track of payments and save you time. I'd be happy to help you go over how to receive credit card payments in QuickBooks Desktop.
At this time the ability to receive payments through QuickBooks Desktop is not available and would require you to look into a third party app to do this. In order to find the best app for this I recommend looking through our third party apps page. When looking through the apps you'll need to make sure that it states it'll work with the Canadian version of QuickBooks.
Another option is to look into QuickBooks Online which has an option to add the ability to receive payments by credit card from your customers. You can find out more regarding QuickBooks Online and the Payments add on by going to our website here.
