Hello thekindergarden1,

A year-end receipt is the perfect way to help your customers see the information they need for their own taxes. There isn't quite a year-end receipt in QuickBooks Online, however, I do have something you can consider.

What I recommend in this case is creating a customer statement with a date range covering the entire year. There are different statement types, including one called Transaction Statement. This kind of statement provides your customer with a list of every transaction over the course of the year. Learn more about statements here: Create and view customer statements

I know tax agencies sometimes require more details than that, in which case, this list on a statement may not work. If so, I recommend re-sending the appropriate transactions to your customers so you have them. Here's how you can resend invoices in a batch action.

  1. Hover over Sales in the left menu and choose Invoices.
  2. Select the transactions you'd like to send.
  3. Choose Batch actions and click Send invoices.

Keep in mind, this is simply sending the invoice transaction again. If they've been paid, it'll show as such on the invoice, but if you're looking to send sales receipts or the payment receipts, it cannot be done in batch. Instead, you'd pull up a transaction page, such as the customer profile, then select the drop-down arrow from the Action column and choose Send.

Feel free to leave feedback about either of these options if they're not quite right for you. We love receiving customer comments so we know what we can do to help make running your business even easier. Here's how you can leave feedback: How do I submit feedback?

Take care and feel free to stop by again!
