I signed up for a free trial on June 21 and cancelled it the same day as the product was not appropriate for me. Intuit refused to refund the initial charge of $5.98! Very sad a company with a great reputation did this. Extremely low in my opinion. Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this refund request concern.
I'd like to share some more help and insights about the refund policy for QuickBooks Online. Before anything else, can you please let me know how you requested for the refund? Did you call our customer service or did you do it manually?
If you requested the refund manually online, you will receive an email stating why the request is approved or denied. It also comes with the case number that you can use if you request more details to our customer service.
Also, when you process a free trial order, the system will not charge you for the service unless it renews after 30 days. There are several reasons why the system will approve prorated and not full refunds. However, only our customer service can verify and confirm this by checking your account logs.
I suggest that you contact our support as this forum does not handle account and billing concerns for security reasons. If you have the case ID, provide it to our agents so they can easily track the refund history.
