The sample invoice in my app, cannot be deleted. Says it can't find it online. It's been over a year. I just want it off my invoice list. How?

The error message you’re seeing means the invoice wasn’t synced with QuickBooks Online (QBO). Sometimes, invoices that appear in your app could have already been deleted online but still show up in your app’s cache or offline data.
 
To start, please ensure you have a stable internet connection and locate the invoice in QBO to confirm whether it’s still there. If it is, please attempt to delete it again.
 
If the invoice remains visible in your app, refresh the app’s data to resolve common issues that prevent invoices from deleting.
 
Here's how to refresh the app's data if you're using the QBO mobile app:

 

  1. Open the app and go to the Menu.
  2. Tap the All option, and then choose Intuit Account & Settings.

  3. Select Refresh Data.

  4. Tap on Refresh Now to confirm.

 

Should the problem persist, the next step is to clear or offload the app’s data to refresh the application and eliminate any potential causes of freezing or deleting errors.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to your device's settings.
  2. Find and tap the Apps option.
  3. Scroll through the list and select the QBO app.
  4. Tap on Storage.
  5. Select Clear Data or Offload the app, depending on your mobile operating system.

 

Alternatively, uninstalling and reinstalling the QuickBooks Online app can provide a fresh start with the latest updates and bug fixes.
