Thanks for joining us! I hope QuickBooks Online is meeting your accounting needs as a business owner up to this point. I'll take you on a guide around the program so you can find some of the different areas you can see and create credit memos.
Perhaps the easiest way to create a credit memo is to select the +New button at the top of the left menu, then choose Credit memo from the Customers column. Once you've clicked that, you'll be on the credit memo screen!
Another way to access this is from the Sales menu. You can either be on the All Sales tab, where the option to create a sales-related transaction like a credit memo can be accessed by clicking New transaction, or on the Customers tab, where you can select a customer, then New transaction.
Each of the three options I just outlined lead you to the same screen to create a credit memo. That's one of the great things about QuickBooks Online: there are many ways to do the same thing.
To see credit memos you've already made, you'll want to go to the All Sales tab I mentioned above or to a customer profile to see the related transactions. Selecting a customer from the Customers tab takes you to their profile.
