The option to view ‘Remittance Forms (annually)’ has disappeared - how do I print T4’s for employees from previous years
Good morning, Lb2012814.
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! QuickBooks Online Payroll provides the ability to archive forms incase you need them in the future. By following these steps below, you'll be able to locate and print the archived payroll forms you need.
From here you'll be able to print the selected forms. Here is a helpful guide for reference. I hope this helps!
Feel free to reach back out to me here if you have any other questions.
How do you access them if you have not previous archived them? I need 2019 T4s that were not archived, as I always had been able to access them from the Payroll Tax tab but the option to view 'Remittance Forms (annually)' has been removed.
Hi there Lb2012814,
For further assistance with retrieving these previous payroll forms, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your account with you in a secure setting to be able to assist you in retrieving those forms. You can reach them using these steps:
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social Media: Facebook and X / Twitter
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
Where do I find "Taxes" in QB Desktop? I've looked everywhere......
Hi Coastangel,
Thanks for joining this thread. QuickBooks Desktop Payroll gives you the ability to easily access your tax forms. I'd be glad to help.
I encourage to follow these steps to access your T4s.
You can also access your T4s by following these steps.
Let me know if this helps!
Same here. I used to be able to go back and reprint these forms. Now it looks like if you have Qb desktop, you are able to access these forms, but you've removed this option from QBO and now we have to contact support in order to access these? It would be very much appreciated if these options were put back in place. Thank you.
All looks good. I can find the info and can review the forms but they will not print.
Hello MarvW. Thanks for joining this thread. I'll be happy to help you going forward. Could you elaborate more about what happens when you attempt to print the forms on your end?
The problem was Windows Security blocking access to the file. I temporrarily disabled Windows Security and printed my T4.
Well done! I'll be a message away in case you have other questions.
