It's important that your transactions are properly entered into your books so that your balances are fair. QuickBooks Online is a tool that can help you with tracking tax on transactions to help you with totals for returns. I can give you information about taxes in QuickBooks.
Currently, QuickBooks Online is able to calculate tax only using the standard way of calculation, so the quick method isn't able to be tracked automatically by QuickBooks Online. The taxes tracked using the quick method would need to be calculated outside of QuickBooks Online. I can see that this feature would be one you would like to see in QuickBooks to help you with your tax filings. I recommend that you put this suggestion in the Gear icon, then Feedback. These comments are considered by our developers when creating new features for QuickBooks online.
